I really like how all the characters interact with eachother. And I replied to your pm Atlantis.
I am torn between "More than Human" and "Symphony of Souls". Opinions?

@amanda Haha oops. XD I was going to try to slide my new girl in as a receptionist at Turner Records. I'll edit.
Guess the poor girl with have to deal with Nathaniel instead.... oh dear. haha
Like the Charrie though. <3
Edit: Also, I'm with Tk that having points of contact with the charries is useful. Marcus should be tied in once Alise shows up, but Nathaniel is still on the periphery. Perhaps he and Turner could have some sort of musical contact {though, Turner seems more 'up and coming' where as Nathaniel would be a vamp slow to accept change}? My thoughts were that they would at least know that eachother were vamps and in the city. *shrugs* I just don't want him hiding in his mansion alone haha. Not good for play.

^ I mean, there could be more than one-- she can't work ALL the time. However you want to do it. TK, I like the idea you posed in the message and will probably work off that, at least to get started. And, at long last, here is Alise's bio. Zabby says she may change Madoc's name to be more French instead of Welsh, and I'll edit that when she posts. Name: Alise Armistead Name at birth was Alise Bisette. Married Mathéo D'Aramis and took his last name for many years. Physical Age: 19 Actual Age: 416 (b. 1597 in Angoulême, France) Appearance: here, here, and hereAlise was born to an upper-class family during the early Baroque period. Her father saw her only as a means of increasing his wealth and influence through marriage and often treated her roughly. When she was still young, he betrothed her to a member of the D'Aramis family, and though she expressed her unwillingness, when she was 19, they married. On their wedding night, Mathéo discovered a bruise on her arm and guessed correctly that her father had given it to her. He showed her the true nature of his condition (he was actually around 117 years old), and promised her wealth, strength, and immortality. She begged him to turn her, awe-struck by his power, and the newlyweds plotted and later carried out the murder of her father together. As a couple, Alise and Mathéo likely represented the closest thing to 'love' soulless vampires can achieve. They did everything together and benefitted from one another's company. After twenty years of marriage, however, the townspeople began to suspect something of the D'Aramis. Mathéo's entire family was hunted down by a group of slayers the town had hired. It wasn't long before they came for him and Alise. Mathéo was killed, decapitated before Alise's eyes, and she was badly injured. She escaped into the nearby forest, and managed to hide there until the danger had passed. But she vowed revenge on the entire race of humans for what they had done. She tried to make her way to the next city, but collapsed on the way there from the pain of her injuries. Not long afterward, she was found by a young monk named Madoc who took her back to his abbey to heal her. She awoke in severe pain, not from her injuries, but from being on holy ground. She pleaded with him to let her leave and he consented. Away from the monastery, she healed naturally and when she was at full strength, returned to sire Madoc, who ended up killing the rest of the monks. Over time, she and Madoc formed her second relationship, killing and hunting humans for sport, not only in France but the entirety of Europe. As she grew older and stronger, Alise gained her philosophy of dealing with the inferior race. She had designs to take over small portions of land at first, and farm humans as one might farm cows. The way she saw things, humans were only fragile, weak creatures and it was the destiny of vampires to rule over them. But Madoc seemed to enjoy living in the shadows and having to hunt for his prey. It was only a small rift at first, but it eventually drove the two apart, leading her to London, England in the mid-1800s. There she met Turner and began her third relationship, believing she could teach him to follow her ideals. For almost fifty years, she managed to coach and control him. But at the turn of the century, the two found themselves in London and received souls. Turner was devastated by it, but not Alise. Instead of being suddenly confronted with the guilt of the countless murders and atrocities she had committed, she was reminded of her grief over the loss of her husband and the difficulties she had with her father, intensifying her hatred of humans triple-fold. After the celebration was over, she tried to catch up with Turner again, but he wouldn't see her, no matter how hard she tried. The loss of her third lover was yet another sorrow for her, and for a while she became depressed. But the sadness quickly turned to anger and the anger only refueled her desire to rule over the miserable humans around her. Coupled with that, she began to realize that her grief was caused by the soul she'd been given. She poured herself into research, desperate to find a way to lose or destroy her soul and go back to the painless existence she'd lived before. All the while, she kept an eye on Turner's movements, certain she could get him under her control again once he overcame his own inner turmoil. She has recently moved to the Seattle area, living in secret as she searches for the witches she's heard were living in the area. Because it was witches that were responsible for her ensoulment, she believes she could torture one into removing it as well. Or at least remove theirs in an act of revenge.

Emeline isn't really connected...but I'll figure it out! Oh, and this is really nerdy of me, but I love he baroque era music for the oboe! Well, when this started as a fanfic, Rainer was going to be in a romantic relationship with somebody. If you wanted Emeline to go the romantic route then I'm open to having her and Rainer possibly getting together.

OT - So, I may regret this once I start classes and/or get a job but here comes character number three {last one for now}! Prepare for shameless character recycling. Name: Saki Yasuhara Age: 19 Appearance: Bio: Born in Michigan, Saki is the youngest child (and only girl) of the Yashara family. Her mother was a schoolteacher and her father worked as an auto-mechanic during most of Saki's childhood. Saki has four older brothers, the youngest being 7yrs older than her, who love her dearly and tell her that her mother was an incredibly intelligent and kind woman, Saki, however, doesn't remember her mother as Rachel Yasuhara was killed soon after Saki was born. Growing up, Saki was told that her mother died in a car crash. When she fourteen, however, she learned the truth. Rachel Yasuhara was killed by a vampire. Though virtually unknown in the states, Kenjii Yasuhara {Saki's father} was once a feared hunter of supernatural beings in his native Japan. From a young age he hunted both independently and as a government agent and lived an exciting life. He met Rachel, a woman nine years his junior, while training in Canada. The two carrying on a whirlwind romance until Rachel announced that she was pregnant with his son. Rather than running, Kenjii elected to settle down and soon after he married Rachel. Kenjii was very careful to keep his identity as a hunter secret. The young family moved frequently and Kenjii held his sons to a level of mental and physical excellence from the time they were very young. Even with these precautions the family was targeted more and more and after the birth of his fourth son, Kenjii decided to retire. The family moved to the US to be closer to Rachel's family and Kenjii took a job as an auto-mechanic. They lived modestly but comfortably during those years and for the most part remained unnoticed by the local vampires and supernaturals. Saki was born almost exactly seven years after her next youngest sibling Tatsuya {Her birthday is two days after his} and though a surprise, was loved greatly by her family. Sadly, this happy time was not to last. A vampire whose companion had been killed by Kenji years before discovered the Yashara's location by chance and soon swooped down on the family. Kenjii was able to destroy the vampire before it could murder his sons and newborn daughter, however, Rachel Yasuhara was lost and Kenji would never be the same. Consumed by grief and guilt, Kenji quickly detached and self-destructive, constantly pushing his children away. From this point the five Yasuhara children were forced to grow up quickly as their father succumbed to alcoholism and squandered the family's modest fortune {for though Kenjii always insisted his family live a 'normal' life, he was paid well for his services} gambling. Kenji stopped training his sons at this time and slowly began to deny the existence of supernatural beings altogether. It was during this time that a certain James Lucas Riley moved to the small town outside of Seattle where the Yasahura's were living. His relocation was no accident. Many years before, Kenjii Yasahura had been commissioned to kill Riley. They had fought bitterly over the course of several months in a trying game of cat and mouse until during one encounter Riley dropped his weapon and asked for mercy. He explained that although he was a monster and likely worthy of death, he needed first to kill another supernatural being. A magician Riley had worked alongside years before. Kenji agreed reluctantly at first but by the time the mission was complete Kenji counted the man a friend. Now, after hearing of Rachel's death and Kenji's condition, Riley came to the small town to continue Kenji's earlier training. As Riley had suspected, the boys all carried a degree of supernatural talent and soon became strong and able hunters of supernatural beings. At Kenji's insistance, Saki was left in the dark regarding the existence of supernaturals. Believing the girl had no supernatural talent and thus would be unable to properly defend herself {Kenji also didn't think girls could be hunters} he insisted that she would be safer for her to be unaware. As she has grown older Saki's brothers, especially the youngest two, have tried to train her while still keeping her in the dark. They made sure Saki was trained in self defense and quizzed her on supernatural 'trivia' in case it was needed. Thus, Saki is 'trained' in a sense but very very inexperienced. To her, 'Ghost Hunting' {as she calls what her brothers do} is more of a hobby than a profession and while she 'believes' in the supernatural she has never actually experienced it. After Saki's graduated from high school, she moved in with her brother Tatsuya who was working as a neurologist at Snow Pediatric Research Hospital. Not quite able to pay for college yet, Saki took up two jobs. One at Starbucks* and one at Turner Records as a receptionist. Four months ago, she quit her job at Starbucks too concentrate on Turner Records however she has recently taken up a job with the mysterious Nathan Snow. She has not told her brothers nor friends about the switch. Abilities: Though she is unaware of this power, I was thinking Saki may eventually discover a gift for healing. Small things at first {burns, cuts, etc...} and it would use her own energy. Saki is stronger than she appears and trained to defend herself. She can play violin and *thinks* she can sing.

Oh goodness. I just read through my message to you. Auto-correct can rot in Tartarus. I thought I should go over the basic vampire weaknesses. Wooden Stake to the Heart Decapitation Sunlight Crosses/Holy Water/Religious artifacts are a thing in Buffy as well. I know that for a fact, but they don't kill vampires just burn them without fire. I thought the happiness/sex thing was just for Angle because of the spell that the gypsies used on him? I didn't get the impression that it would apply to all enshrouded vampires.

Thanks for adding the Religious Artifacts Zabby.
As for the happyness thing, I want more than one way for them to lose their souls. While in the show that only counted for Angel, I wanted to add atleast 1 other thing. So I thought I would add it in.
Also! Vampires cannot enter the home of a human without being invited.

Name: Mason Bazin Age: 23 (400) Appearance: Bio: Mason was born in the farmlands around Angoulême in France. When he was 7, his parents were killed in a house fire and he was sent to live with Benedictine Monks who lived nearby. Being raised by the monks was fine. He was raised with the lifestyle and when he grew up, he became one himself. Mason was trained by one of the Monks in medicine. He found that he excelled at it. It became Mason's duty as he got older to treat the surrounding villages and try to keep general diseases at bay. He lived happily at this time, ministering both to both the body and soul of villagers. One day though, he was walking back from treating a young boy who had a high fever when he saw a woman in the forest collapsed. She had some horrible, seemingly life threatening wounds, and her skin was cold as death, but she was still breathing. He carried her all the way back to his monastery and treated her wounds. He left her in one of the rooms they had left aside for people claiming asylum from government or others seeking to kill them. He checked on her often, and it baffled him. Her wounds did not close, and her skin did not get any warmer. Soon she awoke, but she was weak. She refused to explain what happened to her, all she would do was demand and plead that he let her leave the monastery. After a day, he agreed, but only under his supervision. He escorted her off the grounds and she seemed to get stronger as soon as she was off holy ground, so he gave the woman money and sent her on her way. Although he wasn't very comfortable with her traveling on her own, he also gave her the names of some good, trusting villagers, hoping she would be alright. A few days later, Mason got a message from a villager that a strange women wanted to meet him. His mind automatically jumped to Alise, and he rushed off to where she was supposed to be waiting for him. When he got there though, he didn't see her in danger or something like he was concerned, but rather she attacked him and forced him to drink his own blood. He passed out, but when he woke up, he was had a thirst like something he had never experienced before. It was not just a thirst for blood, but a thirst for chaos and death. He was born with an almost insatiable blood lust. He killed the first villagers he came across, and then he returned for the monks that had once raised him. As he grew on, he and Alise became lovers after a sort. He never felt true love for her really. It was more like she helped him scratch an itch that he had. Mason only felt truly alive when he was stalking and killing anything. He loved the smell of fear and panic that prey gave off when he was stalking them. It did not matter if it was beast or human; they were the same in his mind. His thrill came from the rush and kill. It was after a while that Alise began to talk to him about unpleasant ideas. She wanted to destroy their way of life. She wanted them to come out of the shadows and rule the humans, but this was not please to Mason. Even though he knew they could set up camps and such to simulate the feeling of hunting, he did not want to match wits against a domesticated prey. He left Alise soon after that. For a short time, he met up with a group of vampires, but they proved to be incompetent and got themselves killed in Germany by a man of the cloth. He traveled by himself for a while and found himself in that town again. He decided to pay that vampire hunter a visit and stumbled across a younger version of the vampire hunter. Figuring there was a family relation there, he killed the boy, but not after forcing him to drink his own blood. He waited on the outskirts of town for the father to come back to the funeral. After the ceremonies he captured the man and waited by the grave for the young vampire to dig himself out. Once the boy was out, he watched in grim satisfaction while son devoured father. Then, he took Rainer as his protegee and taught him the joy of the hunt. The lived like this for a while until they found themselves in London around the turn of the century. It was there that his soul was returned to him. Suddenly the wave of what he had been for the last 300 years rushed over him and Mason ran away from Rainer, hoping not to see him again. Mason wander aimlessly consumed by guilt. After weeks and weeks of walking without feeding, Mason decided it was time to end his life. He decided to end it by drinking some Holy Water. He stumbled into the nearest Catholic Church he could find late at night. He was about to dunk his head into the baptismal fount and take a large swig of the water when he felt a hand on his back. The priest smiled at him and said, "I know what you are, and I know why you're here, but you can not do that." Mason broke down crying and the priest took him home. The priest seemed to have blood bottled animal in his house, but Mason did not question it at first. He just gladly accepted the offering and they talked. It turned out that there were other vampires like him, ensouled ones that worked with and were protected by the church. This man, while he was human, was one of the contacts for these agents who fight against soulless vampires and protect humanity. Mason agreed that night to work for the Church again, like he had a lifetime ago. The next day, Mason left this priest and went to the Vatican where they were expecting him. When he arrived there, he was accepted into the ranks of these vampire hunters, but he had to go through training. This taught him how to properly fight his own kind and how to handle religious artifacts and other things safely. After ten short years of this training, Mason was released again to the world. He has been hunting vampires at the order of the Church ever since. They even allow him to adopt the Dominican habit like he wore all those years ago before his transformation. Now he is traveling to Seattle to try to verify the rumors of all the vampires settling there. Abilities: Normal vampire powers and being so old has stronger/advanced vampire powers, whatever that means. Also, Mason is able to use (with special gloves and very carefully) Christian religious artifacts (I'm assuming that ensouled vampires have the same weaknesses as unsouled vampires).

This is my last character, I swear. She'll probably be a minor one at that. Maybe. Though I love her. Name: Aveline (Ava for short) Mallory Age: 26 Appearance: Bio: Ava was born in Dayton, WA, a tiny town on the eastern side of the state. She wanted her whole life to escape living in the middle of nowhere and when she graduated high school, headed immediately for Seattle. Things were difficult for a few months while she struggled to find both a job and a permanent residence (instead of bouncing between friends' houses), but within a few months she found a job as a housekeeper for a wealthy resident. Her first day she was introduced to the owner of the place by one of his personal assistants from work. Turner Forsyth explained the house's needs curtly and then disappeared into his private study. He didn't even ask her name or tell her the pay rate, and Ava was absolutely indignant. Still, having any job was better than nothing and the tasks didn't seem too difficult. She accomplished all of them by evening and waited patiently in the kitchen for him to assess her work. Turner emerged from his study late at night to find her sleeping on the couch in his living room. He didn't bother to wake her and the pattern continued until he finally showed her a bedroom in the house. At the end of her first week, she found a hefty check taped to her door. As time went on, she slowly discovered his secrets and, though she was afraid at first, she got to know him and the two developed a comfortable friendship, complete with joking digs at one another and a quiet protective quality.

Name: Celia Wilkinson Age: 58 (she tells everyone she's 50 though) Appearance: Bio: Celia was born to a family that practiced the craft. She inherited her grandmother's ability to sense souls and eventually became a very powerful witch. So powerful, that her family feared her. She was able to switch peoples souls around, rip the souls from cats, even destroy peoples souls if she wanted to. Her parents were worried that their daughter might do something that she would regret, so they cast the most powerful spell they could. They stripped her of her powers and blocked her from ever accessing new powers. She resented her parents for years after this and eventually ran away from home. Nobody really knows how she came into her wealth, but her worth never stopped growing. Something deemed very bizarre in her time, some dispute that this is magic in on itself. She married Elliot Wilkinson, another wealthy member of society and had one daughter, Jane. She never told Jane of her history as a young witch, but feared that when Jane's child would be born, she would have to be the one to teach him about their abilities. When Elliot died in 2005 of a lung cancer, she received all of his wealth and boosted her status in the social world even more. When her son-in-law died and her daughter started abusing Connie, Celia gladly took in Connie and gave him the best life she could offer. Which is actually quite a nice life. Powers/Abilities: Celia used to be an incredibly powerful witch that could literally raise the dead if she wanted. Not only had her power over life and death been great, she was also very well gifted in psychic spells. After being stripped of her abilities, her greatest power is her influence in the city. And her enormous wealth.
