Name: Saki Yasuhara
Age: 15 (nearing 16)
Sex: Female
Appearance:
Year/Grade: Junior (1yr Ahead)
Preferred Monster: Zombie
Weapon(s): Saki doesn't have any 'special' weapons, but she does have a lot of other things. You may see her with Machetes, Shotguns, Crossbows and all manner knives all of which she is at least proficient in.
Fear: Heights, Rejection, large dogs (though not lycans or monster dogs weirdly) for her brothers' and master's safety. (The last being the big one.
Personality: Submissive, Shy and bookish Saki isn't the type of person you would expect to be a lethal zombie hunter but she gets the job done. She's extremly smart, but also socially awkward and is often afraid that people only like her for her brains. Saki is very kind and loyal to those who she cares about but she lacks a lot of social grace and can be pretty blunt. Despite her expansive knowledge base and expertise in monster's, Saki could be described as 'spacey' and lacks common sense. Saki has had a rough past, but she doesn't generally dwell on it or let it affect her and generally comes off as cheerful and upbeat.
Bio: Born in a rural town not far outside of Eagleton, to a high school teacher and an auto-mechanic, Saki is the youngest child (and only girl) of the Yasuhara family. Saki has four older brothers, the youngest being 7yrs older than her, who love her dearly and tell her that her mother was an incredibly intelligent and kind woman, Saki however never knew her as Jenna Yasuhara died in childbirth. Saki's father Kenjii blamed his daughter for his wife's death and the two have a tense and broken relationship.
With their mother dead and their father usually lost in the bottle of a liquor bottle, the Yasuhara boys usually had free reign of the town and while they were occasionally annoyed by having to take care of their little sister they always did it regularly. Protecting her from teasing kids and school bullies and also from the drunken rages of their father.
When her brother's were in highschool, Saki noticed that suddenly they were spending less time with her and more time with a mysterious neighbor who had moved in a few doors down. Though the boys had never stopped her from tagging along in the past now they suddenly grew secretive and firmly told her not to follow them. Nearly a year passed with Saki growing increasingly distraught over her brothers exploits then one day she decided to take matters into her own hands, following them deep into the neighbor's property. She never would have expected what she found.
Before her eyes her brother's had turned into mighty warriors, fighting each other and their teacher with inhuman grace. Saki climbed into a tree to be able to see better and was amazed to find that they were in some sort of training. Her amazement only increased when the neighbor opened a small box containing some sort of monster. Saki cried out in terror as the creature grew in size and charged open mouthed towards her oldest brother, falling out of the tree and into the fray.
The neighbor intervened quickly and the creature was easily defeated however Saki was terrified, begging an explanation from her brothers. They explained how the neigbor was actually a long lost friend of their mother's, a fellow teacher who also had a penchant for hunting strange beings and monsters that haunted the world. The neighbor beileived that it was a zombie's scratch that had caused the illness that led to their mother's death and that now, for vengeance, he was trainng them to see and to fight the monsters.
Saki stood aghast several moments longer, then begged to be taught by the neighbor as well but at first the man refused (she was, after all, only 9yrs old) only her persistent begging and the eventual giving in of her brothers swayed him. Saki thrived under her new master, eventually choosing to specialize in killing zombies.
Saki's 'master' left suddenly on a mission of some sort with her oldest two brothers about a year and a half ago and she hasn't seen them since (something that worries her greatly). Though she's always gone to Eagleton schools, her and her father have moved closer to town recently. They live in a rundown, two-bedroom apartment about a mile from the school.
Note: I may possibly bring in Saki's 'Master' or one of her brother's later in the game. If you interested in playing a brother for any reason let me know. The role doesn't need to be filled though. ^_^
