OT for Eagleton. My Character: Name: Satoru Tanaka Age: 18 Sex: Male Appearance: www.animecharactersdatabase.com/character.php?id=33517Year/Grade: Senior Preferred Monster: Lycan Weapon(s): Two Pistols which he has named Check and Mate. They fire Silver bullets. Fear: Insanity (See Bio) Personality: Quiet and Reserved, He has a really nice personality, but doesn't show it. Bio: Satoru was adopted at the age of eight into the Tanaka household where he became good friends with his new brother Hikaru. Hikaru always wondered why Satoru was always quiet when they went out in public but extremely funny when they would just hang out. The truth lied in Sotaru's life before he was adopted. His mother was insane and his father only came home every few days. They lived in the woods away from the town that they lived. So when a lycan came and attacked his father, Satoru was scarred for life. The monster had killed his biological father and his mother couldn't properly take care of him, so CPS came to take him away. He took his fathers pistols and secretly sneaked out of his new home at night to practice. His adoptive parents signed him up for Kick-Boxing and with his skill with pistols, is a great monster hunter. When Hikaru turned 18 and Satoru was 17 their parents decided that they could take care of themselves and went to New York. After awhile the Tanaka parents had given up on all contact to their children. While shocked, the Tanaka children just dealt with "loss" of their parents. After Hikaru was seriously wounded by the Black Hound Satoru has been flunking his classes in school and spends as much time as he can with his brother. I edited his appearance to match his personality better.

4. No wonder kids. Believable (As believable as Hunters could be) Characters. No Taryn's *Glares at Logos*. D'awwww, what did poor Taryn ever do to you?! There's more child prodigies in the world than there are werewolves, y'know! Alright, alright, I won't create a character that'll show up for monster hunting with a suit of powered combat armor and DIY drone aircraft.

Towr, would you mind expanding on your theory of ghosts?

Sure.
Ghosts are spirits that tie themselves to a specific object. They are usually over protective of this object and try to scare people away from it. If the person continues to provoke them, they can get aggressive (i.e. Scratches, throwing objects Etc.) They can only be dispelled by reading of a Lexicon (The language of the Lexicons are French words that sound all cool and Ghost-away-ey and then say them backwards.) The text would then banish the ghost and it would stop existing all together. Rarely, A ghost can attach themselves to a Human. The ghost then tries to ruin relationships that that person has. Putting the person in solitude giving the ghost more time with the person. This is a very rare occurrence though.

Name: Akeda Kotaro Age: 16 Sex: Male Appearance: or a larger one.Year/Grade: Junior Preferred Monster: ghosts Weapon(s): L'exil des FantomesFear: Being unable to move/trapped in extremely small spaces Personality: kind and cheerful Bio: The only son of the director of the local hospital and the head of the Eagleton Parks and Recreation Department, Kotaro was born into a wealthy, but empty, home. His mother has an affinity for old relics and frequents town auctions (often organized by her, as a member of the PRD). When Kotaro was twelve, his mother brought home an antique necklace she had purchased on just such an occassion. The Akeda family's home began to experience inexplicable phenomena-- objects would move or fall off shelves when no one was around them, servants complained of mysterious scratches appearing on their bodies. When it finally became too much, the lady of the house called an old man from several towns over, someone who (to her husband's embarrassment as a man of science) called himself a ghost hunter. As the hunter questioned Kotaro's parents and explained what had to be done, the tween became enchanted with the old man's expertise. The hunter banished the spirit without much difficulty and, much to the Akedas' amazement, the strange happenings at their home ended. It was when Mrs. Akeda travelled with her son to deliver payment for the hunter's services that Kotaro asked eagerly to stay with him while she visited local stores and shopped. The old hunter, Gabriel Thibault, explained his methods and the danger involved in his work, but despite his warnings, Kotaro never gave up his enthusiasm for hunting. He studied how it was done for a couple years on his own. At the age of fourteen, at another of his mother's auctions, he discovered an ancient book with the title L'exil des Fantomes; his previous studies told him it was the kind of book Mr. Thibault would have used. After much convincing, his mother purchased the tome for him and he toted it home proudly. His family's wealth (and party-sized house) has always elevated him into the popular circles of the school and he was friends with both Aoi and Hikaru before the tragedy struck. ... I think that's the longest bio I've written in a while. And watch, just because I said he's cheerful he'll turn out moody. That always happens. >.<

Hey! I was thinking that I would join...can you elaborate on the Dark Fairies a bit?

Of course. In fact I'll go into detail on all of them.
Vampire: One of the two most powerful monsters to roam the earth. Their constant need for food is what drives them making them vicious killers. While the females of their race are stronger and faster, they are not as smart or have as much control as their male counterpart. They are known to hunt in packs. They cannot stay in the sunlight, as it causes them to burst into flames. They are weak to Holy Water and Blessed Stakes. However. they CAN enter houses were they are not invited and CAN cross water. In fact, They are known to be even more lethal under water.
Baka-Neko: Considered Pure manifestations of evil. While when not in combat, the look like normal cats. But make one angry, and you have one evil cat on your hands. Growing about the size of a Labrador, gaining a second tail, and skin as hard as diamond. The ferocity and reflex's of the Baka-Neko are matched by none other. The only way to kill one is to cut one of its tails off at a sweet spot at the base of its tail.
Lycan: The wolf man. While it doesn't transform into a human, it has the ability to strategize like one. It's strength and speed are not the only problem as its fangs and claws are some of the sharpest known materials ever. The only proper way to kill it is Silver Bullets and other Silver laced weapons. They hunt by themselves and it is very Rare to see them in numbers.
Dark Fairies: Said to bend Darkness like the moon bends the waves. These fairies have complete control over a Tangible Darkness. They can use it as whips or as rope. They can also use it to turn any room pitch black. The more fairies there are, the broader a range they can cover with Darkness. The thing about Fairies though, is that it doesn't matter how you kill them, their anatomy is that of a Human, they die quite easily. Finding them is the real problem. They have purple skin, so they usually stay in the darkness and don't come out in the daylight.
Phantom: You know Slenderman? Take away his tentacles and his suit. Put him in Tattered robes, and the ability to phase through walls. And Voila, a Phantom. These monsters are rare and not often seen at all. But are definitely a force to be reckoned with if they are found. They die by exposure to Mystic Topaz. (Think like a Kryptonite effect)
Lizard-men: While stupid, these creatures are a pain. With tough skin and able to breath in and out of water, they are great escape artists. The Also are born with the ability to fight like Karate Champ. They hunt in packs and come in a variety of colors. They hunt around noon when the sun is the warmest. They are not normally hunted as they don't leave the lakes or marsh-y areas. Killed like humans.
Ghosts: See Above
Black Hounds: While they are described pretty well in the opening post, I'll just add some other info. They do not usually hunt in packs but they can. They are fast (Obviously) and have amazingly strong jaws. They die like any other wolf creature.
Zombies: Dumb, Stupid and incredibly idiotic. They are not living dead, but simply just stupid creatures. They look like decaying humans. (They do not wear clothes, but they're zombies, what'd you expect?) Just the fact that they can only be killed by severing their head from their body seems easy enough. But just a scratch from one of these things burns and takes literally years to heal. The bigger they are the more pain it brings.

Name: Asami Istunabi Age: 17 Sex: Female Appearance: Year/Grade: Senior Preferred Monster: Phantom Weapon: She carries a sword lined in Mystic Topaz. She also carries a few small throwing knives with Mystic Topaz. Fear: Drowning/water in general (explained in Bio) Personality: Asami is hard and focused. She rarely lets her emotions get in her way, and she doesn't take nonsense from anyone. She hates anything that has to do with drama, or people who think that anything that happens is the end of the world. She comes across as cold, and hard, but deep down she does have a soft side. It is just covered up but her anger and resentment. Asami relies on nobody but herself, and tries and holds everyone elses problems on her shoulders. Bio: Asami has been a part of the hunting since she can remember. She never knew her mother, and was raised by her father, who himself was a hunter. He hated the outside world, and everyone in it. He didn't care much for Asami either, he only kept her around to keep the family name going. Asami's life growing up was miserable, she never had any friends and she was always being pushed to her limits by her father. She is afraid of water, because of the extensive training her father gave her. He used to push her into deep waters and make her stay a float just in case this happened while she was hunting. He never actually taught her to swim, just to survive. She still doesn't know how to swim, and everytime she sees deep water she flashes back to her "training." As soon as she was able to attend Eagleton her father sent her. She loves getting away, and tries to stay away from home as much as possible. She finds any excuse to not go home, and she tries to make her way on her own. Fighting Phantoms comes naturally to her, and she is very skilled in her trade. She is one of the go to people whenever there is a phantom problem in the area.
